FEATURING A DIFFERENT VC EVERY WEEK!!!
The VC Breakfast club provides a terrific opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet with VCs in a relaxed, informal setting, to build relationships and get valuable feedback on their startup idea. Participating entrepreneurs deliver an extended elevator pitch for 8 – 10 minutes, and the guest VC provides immediate feedback, enabling fast, effective, accessible mentoring and relationship development.
A unique opportunity indeed for entrepreneurs to meet with potential investors who they otherwise would struggle to meet, and take away ideas, advice and possible leads from the guest VC as action steps.
Entrepreneurs will be given 5-10 minutes to discuss their business with the VC.
Please bring a one-page summary of your company to the meeting (do not bring Power Point Slides or a Business Plan). Depending on the number of attendees for each event there may be more or less time to speak.
Please be prepared to provide a brief but concise elevator pitch about your business and are able to answer questions from the VC. Topics that our VCs are typically interested in include:
- Market opportunity: what is the problem your company has identified and how have you solved it with your products and/or services?
- Customers: who are (or will be) the intended customers of your business and how do you plan to sell to them?
- Technology: what are the technical advantages of your product and/or services and how are they superior to alternatives?
- Finance: How do you plan to make money with this business, how much money will you need to break even and how will you use capital that is invested in you?
Qualified speakers:
Given that our program is targeted specifically at fund-seeking entrepreneurs, our program hosts have been given specific instructions to limit speaking time to only these individuals. Hence, if you are a service provider, fundraising source or unaffiliated entrepreneur (e.g. you are not working for a single company) you should assume that you probably will not get an opportunity to speak directly to the VC during the course of the breakfast.
Confidentiality:
Due to the informal and open nature of our program, you should be aware that it is possible there will be certain details about your business that you might not want to share in front of the whole group.
Please be aware that neither SVASE nor our speakers can completely guarantee that the information you share will be held in complete confidence among program participants.
Please note this event is exclusively for entrepreneurs seeking feedback on their startup ideas and funding strategies. Please do not register for this event if you do not fit this profile
